The project is a single, advanced R&D Complex construction completed within the historic Kandilli Campus of Boğaziçi University, where the historic Observatory (in operation since 1868) is also located. The Science and Technology Building provides approximately 8,500 m² of construction area, serving as a contemporary landmark and a role model for new, sustainable developments that harmonize with the natural world. The complex integrates major research bodies, including the Earthquake Research Institute, Medical Engineering Institute, and Theoretical Physics Institute. Comprised of five interconnected blocks, the building acts as a complete innovation incubation center with flexible laboratory facilities designed to advance regional research.
